With a passion for helping her fellow artists, author and entrepreneur, Michelle Leivan has established ArtMarketingOnline.com blog where she draws from more than 20 years of experience in marketing and gallery management, which has led to writing “Beginning Art Marketing Online” which shares the basic concepts behind internet tools that makes marketing art easier for the artist. As well as ArtPrintExpress.com which offers fine art giclée prints to fellow artists and photographers.
Michelle has also shared her creative passion with an entrepreneurial fundraising concept for the non-profit organization ARTSConnect Topeka where she is sharing the profit of her conception the “Stroke of Genius Game” which is a play at home creative drawing game available to order online and an android application for download.
As an artist, Michelle Leivan was educated at Fort hays State University. She has been distinguished as the featured visual artist at the Kansas River Valley Art Fair, Topeka Jazz Festival, and the Aaron Douglas Art Fair, and has been nominated for the Kansas Governor’s Art Award in the visual arts category. Her work has been selected to hang in the Kansas State Capital building and in the U.S Embassy Residence of the Ambassador in Asunción, Paraguay.
Michelle’s work has been featured in solo shows and exhibits at the Manhattan Arts Center, Arts Council of Topeka and Topeka Performing Arts Center. She also has exhibited in several juried internet competitions and in Soho, New York. Her work is represented in the Ellis County Historical Archives as well as in several corporate and private collections.
